Job summary

K&G Fashion Superstore in Ohio is hiring Receiving Associates to help welcome customers with a world-class shopping experience. You will handle merchandise receiving, ticketing, tagging, and accurate data entry in the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) system while supporting daily store operations.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail in processing shipments, reducing shortages, and maintaining orderly stock on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and productivity of the receiving process.
• Ensure merchandise is checked in, ticketed, hung, folded, and tagged for proper staging or selling floor areas daily.
• Input all receiving information into the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System and Manager’s Workstation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain all receiving paperwork and files related to merchandise.
• Process RTVs, transfers, and damaged merchandise according to Company procedures.
• Ensure proper receiving procedures are used to minimize inventory shortages and overages.

Our Receiving Associates are responsible for performing a variety receiving and merchandise processing, but not limited to:

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and productivity of receiving process
• Ensuring the merchandise is correctly checked in, ticketed, hung, folded, tagged delivered to the proper staging or selling floor area on a daily basis
• Inputting all receiving information in the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System and Manager’s Workstation in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintaining all receiving paperwork and files
• Processing in a timely and accurate manner all RTV’s, transfers and damaged merchandise according to Company procedures
• Ensuring proper receiving procedures are used to eliminate and/or control inventory shortages and overages.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for the majority of work shift, frequently bend, squat and twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder to reach merchandise and or supplies.
