Job summary

Swish Dental in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Lead RDA to oversee chairside procedures, radiographs, and patient care. You will help maintain standards, train staff, and ensure efficient workflow in a clinical studio.

The ideal candidate holds a TX RDA license, CPR/BLS certification, and 1+ year lead experience, with a commitment to patient-first care and teamwork. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required.
• Texas Registered Dental Assistant License required.
• CPR and/or BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Lead RDA or similar experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Document baseline patient information.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
• Take impressions of patients’ teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a “team first” and “patient first” mentality.
• Continuously increase knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere by OSHA, HIPAA, and Texas Dental Board standards.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery.
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Review the schedule and ensure back studio runs smoothly.
• Keep track of inventory and place orders when supplies are low.
• Work closely with the studio manager and support staff.
