Job summary

Quantem Aviation Services is seeking a Lead Aircraft Ramp Agent for the PM shift at Portland International Airport (PDX). You will coach a team, monitor safety standards, and ensure timely loading and unloading of freight and baggage while delivering high-level customer service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and a valid driver’s license; prior ramp or aviation experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to direct in English verbally.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety standards are met and maintained.
• Properly and safely loads and unloads freight including build up and break down of cargo pallets and freight containers.
• Protects freight from elements, damage, and vandalism.
• Operates equipment safely and holds necessary certifications.
