Job summary

MBP is seeking a Construction Manager in the Alexandria, Virginia area to support meaningful railway projects that benefit our community. You will provide on-site representation, leadership of project teams, and ensure safety, schedules, and budgets are met.

You will coordinate with Owners, General Contractors, and Designers, maintain documentation, and drive multi-disciplinary efforts on several projects concurrently. Strong leadership and rail/bridge inspection experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined education and/or experience in construction project management, rail, and/or bridge inspections.
• Evidence of progressive career development with leadership of project or task teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, safety practices, and site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical work products to clients and on-site representation.
• Lead the project team and coordinate with project entities to meet deadlines and budgets.
