Formación

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development applicable to patient populations served.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients, guests, and visitors to destinations using ambulatory means, beds, cribs, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
• Operate and coordinate the hospital paging system for transport and related duties.
• Assist nursing and clinical staff with transferring patients from bed to transport equipment.
• Transport and provide room orientation for admissions and locate patients for staff and families.
• Verify registration of outpatients and transport to appropriate departments or clinics.
• Retrieve, clean, and store unused patient transport equipment.
