Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Radiology Supervisor/Technologist in San Diego, CA to direct daily department activities and supervise staff while delivering high-quality imaging and patient care. The role requires hospital imaging proficiency, leadership, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include staffing, workflow management, patient and staff education, regulatory compliance, and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• 1 Year Supervisory and technical experience
• Licensure - Diagnostic: CRT, Fluoroscopy, ARRT

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the radiology department and supervise staff.
• Perform a wide variety of technical imaging procedures with quality patient care.
• Ensure proper labeling, imaging protocols, and patient safety in procedures.
• Manage staffing levels and workflow, and coordinate with physicians.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and compliance with regulations.
