Responsible for daily operations in the Radiology department, including assigning work responsibilities and ensuring appropriate staffing. Provides guidance and technical assistance, monitors adherence to guidelines and regulations for record keeping and quality control, and interacts effectively with imaging staff, medical/clinical staff, patients, and other customers. Provides constructive direction and support to Imaging staff and leadership. Upholds organizational customer service standards and supports excellence initiatives. Performs all duties outlined in the Radiologic Technologist job description and other duties as assigned.
A minimum of three (3) years of current clinical experience is required.
Post high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and organize workflow, and strong problem-solving skills with self-motivation.
ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current WI Radiographer license are required. AHA BLS certification or equivalent must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
