Job summary

Howard University Hospital seeks a Lead Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Washington, DC. This full-time role runs 7:00am–3:30pm on alternating weeks and offers a pay range of $31.67–$50.69 per hour.

You will lead radiologic staff, ensure safety protocols, and support patient-centered imaging services. Qualified candidates will have an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and BLS/ACLS or PALS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology training program.
• Two years of experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• One year of leadership experience preferred.
• Registered Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS and/or PALS required.

Responsibilities

Pay Range: $31.67 - $50.69/hour

The Lead Radiologic Technologist

• Knowledge of Radiographic equipment operation and radiation safety
• Knowledge of Patient transfers and positioning techniques
• Open, accurate, and responsive communication both oral and written, on individual basis or in groups
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology training program
• Two (2) years’ experience as Radiologic Technologist
• One (1) year of previous leadership experience preferred
• Registered Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current American Heart Association BasicLife Support Card/ACLS and/or PALS required
