Job summary

Medstar Health at Lafayette Center in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Radiographer for a full-time role. The position supports imaging center operations Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a parking stipend and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, you will perform radiographic procedures, mentor staff, ensure patient safety, and contribute to quality assurance and accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiography Technologist.
• Associate Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and state licensure; BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Mentors staff and leads shifts as assigned.
• Receives, relays, and documents orders in the patient’s medical record.
• Performs radiographic procedures and produces diagnostic images.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional radiographic procedures.
