Job summary

Ionetix Corporation is seeking a Senior Production Radiochemist in Lansing, MI to lead the development of novel radiochemistry processes and ensure compliance with all regulations. This position requires expertise in radiochemical production and will play a key role in the commercialization of radioisotopes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in a related field and possess at least three years of relevant experience, alongside strong skills in safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Radiochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in developing radiochemistry processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture cyclotron targets for medical isotope production.
• Develop and validate novel radiochemical processing methods.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, NRC, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

Skills

Development of novel radiochemistry processes

General chemistry lab and radiation safety

Regulatory guidance application (NRC, FDA, OSHA, etc.)

Writing and reviewing SOPs

Data evaluation and analysis

Education

Master’s degree in Radiochemistry or related field

Bachelor’s degree in Radiochemistry or related field plus 5 years experience
