Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Health System, is seeking a Lead Radiation Therapist to join our Photon team. You will prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients and supervise in the absence of the Chief Therapist.

You will operate CT simulators, linear accelerators, and diode systems, identify and resolve related issues, and contribute to a high reliability care environment while advancing patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
• Three (3) years as a registered Senior Radiation Therapist.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients.
• Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the Chief Therapist.
• Operate CT simulator, linear accelerator, and diode system.
• Identify, analyze and resolve program related problems.
