Job summary

Draper seeks a Principal-level Radiation Architecture Engineer to lead system concepts, architectures, and requirements for operation in natural and hostile radiation environments. The role requires hands-on experience delivering radiation hardened systems and mentoring junior engineers on a Cambridge campus.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive risk mitigation, and provide SME-level analyses across dose rate, TID, NDD, and SEE.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or other relevant field. A Master’s degree, or PhD is preferred.
• 7–10 years Radiation Engineering or related experience.
