Lead Race Team Composite Technician

Our Team

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), considered one of the most modern in Europe; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for innovative technologies; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations. Your Mission
  1. Lead the composite group trackside
  2. Be responsible for assembly, maintenance, and modification of composite parts such as front wings, rear wings, and underbodies
  3. Carry out repair work on composite parts
  4. Manage stock of composite parts at the race track
  5. Assist in setting up, dismantling, and maintaining pit infrastructure at race venues
  6. Support the pit crew during races with additional tasks as needed
Your Profile
  • Several years of Formula 1 experience as a composite technician at the track
  • In-depth knowledge of fiber composite materials
  • Manual dexterity, careful, efficient, and independent working style
  • Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate with colleagues on the racecourse
  • Good understanding of technical contexts
  • Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage
