Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a senior R&D scientist to lead the chemistry program, supervise technicians, and advance analytical methods across regulated industries. You will conduct extractions and instrumental analyses, process data, and deliver client-ready results with strict deadlines.

The role requires a PhD in Chemistry or related field (or MSc with substantial experience), hands-on MS-based method development/validation, and the ability to coordinate with QA and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Experience with GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS required.
• Experience developing and validating analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on R&D activities including extractions and instrumental analyses.
• Supervise R&D Technicians and allocate resources.
• Liaise with clients on R&D activities and provide status reports.
• Document methods and ensure QA and accreditation readiness.
