Job summary

Grease Monkey® International, LLC is seeking a seasoned Quick Lube Manager to lead daily operations, optimize workflow, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will coach the lube technicians and assistant manager, uphold safety standards, and drive service performance in a busy shop.

The role requires automotive service knowledge, hands-on leadership, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, including weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of quick lube/service management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive maintenance services and shop safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily quick lube operations, including workflow, vehicle throughput, service quality, and customer wait times.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and coach the assistant manager and lube technicians to support consistent performance and professional growth.
• Ensure oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, tire checks, inspections, and related maintenance services are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain strong customer service standards by greeting customers professionally, explaining recommended services, and resolving concerns promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels for oil, filters, fluids, parts, tools, and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent service interruptions.
• Enforce safety procedures, environmental standards, housekeeping expectations, and company policies across the service area.
• Inspect equipment, work bays, and service areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and safe operation.
• Review repair orders and daily paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Track team productivity, service performance, and customer satisfaction; recommend improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with store leadership on hiring, onboarding, training, sales goals, and department performance.
• Drive financial results by meeting and exceeding sales, payroll, and inventory budgets.
