Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Quantum Integration Engineer to advance the quantum computing roadmap. The role serves as a senior technical contributor across device integration, BEOL, photonics, packaging, cryogenic interfaces, and quantum hardware process development.

You will drive integration architecture, roadmaps, and program execution, interfacing with device engineering, manufacturing, reliability, modeling, packaging, and external partners to translate quantum concepts into manufacturable

Qualifications

15+ years of semiconductor process integration, technology development, or advanced manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor integration, process development, or technology commercialization.
Experience leading cross-functional technical programs or major development initiatives.
Strong analytical, experimental design, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to engineering and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead development of semiconductor integration architectures supporting quantum computing platforms.
Define integration strategies across front-end devices, BEOL routing, photonics interfaces, and quantum-specific modules.
Develop technology roadmaps and ensure manufacturability and qualification of quantum hardware.
Collaborate with device engineering, process teams, manufacturing, reliability, modeling, packaging, and external partners.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to invention disclosures and technology planning.
