Job summary

ARaymond in Logansport, IN, is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead product assurance for metal automotive components, stamping, heat treatment, and coatings. You will ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has metallurgy background, 5+ years in quality leadership, ASQ CQE preferred, and CSR experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Rivian. Reports to Logansport Quality team and partners across suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination.
• MS in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Materials Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience managing a quality department and staff.
• Experience with customer portals and CSR requirements from FORD, GM, Stellantis, Rivian, and Tier 1's.
• ASQ CQE certification in one or more areas would be helpful.
• Experience with IATF 16949 internal procedures, internal and external audits.
• AIAG CQI requirements CQI-9, CQI-11, CQI-12 are desirable.
• Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015 with AIAG IATF 16949:2016 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the development, implementation, and coordination of product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects.
• Lead QA and QC activities related to metal automotive components, stamping, heat treatment and coatings.
• Ensure product integrity, compliance with automotive OEM and Tier 1 standards, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with management to formulate company policies, operating procedures and goals.
• Participates in, coordinates and implements global initiatives related to quality KPI harmonization and CSR.
• Supports APQP/PPAP processes and supplier quality programs, including audits and corrective actions.
