Job summary

Belcan seeks a Lead Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality across value streams, deploying EQMS and EBS tools to prevent defects and improve customer satisfaction. The role supports operational excellence and provides technical guidance to Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams.

You will lead problem-solving, quality planning, risk mitigation, customer support, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, supplier quality, or related technical roles.
• Experience in a regulated quality management system environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, customer-specific).
• Support audits, assessments, and corrective action activities.
• Deploy APQP methodologies and support PPAP submissions and approvals.
• Maintain control plans, PFMEAs, inspection methods, validation activities, and launch readiness.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints, escapes, and returns; drive containment and corrective actions.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto analyses; mentor teams.
• Partner with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain to improve supplier performance.
• Act as SME for quality systems, tools, and customer requirements.
