Luxfer Gas Cylinders, the world’s largest manufacturer of high-pressure cylinders, seeks a Lead Quality Control Inspector for the Liners on a 3rd shift (9:30pm-6:00am, Mon-Sat). Responsibilities include inspections, data capture, and leading NMR activities to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 4-6 years of related experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the quality function.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to read Pi-Tape, Calipers, Depth Gauge, and a weight scale.
• Able to pass a Drug Test, and acceptable background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• Oversee daily production activities and lot qualification testing for quality compliance.
• Coordinate/lead Non-Conforming Material (NMR) system.
• Generate nonconforming material reports and disposition materials.
• Participate as active member of the material review board.
• Define and implement process controls to reduce variability.
