Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead QA activities within our laboratory and production environments. You will ensure conformity to ISO 9001, AS9100, and related quality systems, supervise a team, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and method validation.

Responsibilities include overseeing QA analyses, implementing QC procedures, reviewing test results, and guiding personnel actions with HR and leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Supervises quality assurance analysis to ensure consistent and reliable operation in a laboratory setting.
• Implements quality control procedures for the laboratory.
• Performs routine analysis to ensure the integrity of data, processes, and results and provides recommendations to improve quality standards.
• Reviews and interprets test results to ensure accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
• Performs calculations and determinations to validate results or specifications.
• Validates and verifies methods and identifies issues that may affect the accuracy and integrity of test results.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.
