  • Oversee qualification and indoctrination of QA personnel and lead auditors; maintain qualification records and ensure assigned personnel have organizational freedom, access to work, and direct management access.
  • Review significant nonconformances, conditions adverse to quality, corrective actions, trends, root-cause evaluations, and effectiveness reviews; elevate adverse trends and repeat conditions.
  • Coordinate quality interfaces with the Project Quality Manager, QC Manager, NCR/CAR Manager, Field Engineering, Work Planning, Procurement Quality, Document Control, Construction, suppliers, and Company representatives.
  • Monitor quality metrics, audit and surveillance schedules, aging items, recurring issues, records completion, supplier performance, and turnover readiness; communicate risks and recovery actions.
  • Support Company access, oversight, audits, and records review, and ensure quality records remain legible, traceable, retrievable, and suitable for turnover.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, quality, construction management, or a related technical field; an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
  • Must have at least 12-15 years of progressive quality experience of which 6-8 years with DOE projects.
