Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (Quality Infrastructure) for an aerospace/defence client in Barrow. The role is onsite and contract-based, focusing on the Quality Function within the local Management System.

You will lead internal and supplier audits, guide quality activities, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/EN9100 standards across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001/EN9100 standards and quality systems.
• Ability to lead internal and supplier audits.
• Understanding of SHE and responsible business behaviours.
• Develops documentation within the local Management System.

Responsibilities

• Lead/internal audits and supplier audits.
• Provide specialist guidance to the Quality Function.
• Develop and maintain local Management System documentation (policies, procedures).
• Ensure cross-functional processes are deployed and adhered to.
