Job summary

Corbion is seeking a QA/QC Manager in Blair, NE to lead the Quality department, develop and maintain QA/QC systems, and ensure compliance with specifications and certifications. You will manage budgets and participate in policy development within Corbion's strategy.

Responsibilities include guiding audits, improving processes, and coordinating with internal customers while ensuring food safety and regulatory adherence in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of progressive quality role experience in food facilities.
• Minimum 5+ years of leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee development, leadership, and coaching on both a team and individual basis.
• Plan strategically for the Quality department while adapting to changing business needs.
• Plan and accomplish department and company goals for Quality as set by the Site Director.
• Coordinate, with respect to food safety and quality, the communication with internal customers and contractors.
• Oversee internal and external audit programs including BRC, customer audits and GMP inspection programs.
