Job summary

Ellis & Watts Global Industries Inc, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA activities across projects. You will drive improvements in products and manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

The role involves audits, corrective actions, and providing guidance to inspectors and engineers. On-site work in Batavia, OH with travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities for assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify, investigate, and implement improvements to products and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute quality programs and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, industry codes, and regulatory standards
• Support customer, supplier, and regulatory audits, including audit preparation, execution, and follow-up activities
• Manage corrective actions and nonconformance reports through timely resolution
• Provide technical quality guidance to inspectors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel
• Conduct supplier audits and vendor surveillance activities as a lead auditor
• Review vendor documentation and quality records to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Create and review quality documentation, including final document packages, commercial-grade dedication packages, and customer submittals
• Perform receiving and in-process inspections as needed
