Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Functional Tester to drive QA across a large-scale e-commerce platform. The role covers desktop, mobile web (iOS/Android), and native apps, plus back-end services, with an offshore/on-site distributed team.

You will guide testing strategy, oversee 4–6 QA engineers, and collaborate with product, analytics, and development teams. Strong English and proactive prioritization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• 2+ years leading QA teams (4-6 people).
• GenAI-assisted QA process improvement experience.
• Basic mobile testing and API/web services testing.
• Ability to define and improve testing strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing across desktop, mobile web, native apps, and back-end.
• Contribute to automated tests implementation and execution.
• Apply GenAI tools to improve team velocity and reporting.
• Develop and adjust the Test Strategy based on project needs.
• Review product requirements for clarity and consistency.
• Coordinate QA planning, estimation, organization and prioritization.
• Create/update Jira dashboards and report QA status; support releases.
• Participate in grooming, planning, standups; liaise with offshore/on-site teams.
