Fractal is seeking an ETL Tester/QA Engineer to support deployment and monitoring of quality standards across data products. You will develop a QA framework with Python-based tests, Pytest, and Databricks integration, collaborating with data engineers and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong automation skills, experience with PySpark/API testing, and a proven track record in building QA processes within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software testing experience.
• Experience as QA Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with PySpark, API testing, and test automation.
• Strong communication with stakeholders to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate within QA teams through daily activities, training, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality standards and testing procedures.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, test cases and test data for testing activities.
• Define KPI, testing roadmaps, and ensure end-to-end quality across projects.
• Coordinate platform releases by overseeing test case execution and defect documentation.
• Own end-to-end QA automation and manual quality assurance processes.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures as needed.
