Job Description

The State of New York – Sligo Soft is seeking an experienced Lead QA Automation Tester for a 12-month contract position. The candidate will be responsible for QA automation, performance testing, ALM administration, and UFT script development. This role requires expertise in LoadRunner, UFT, and ALM while ensuring seamless integration and quality assurance standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

ALM Administration:

• Manage ALM setup, configuration, and user administration.
  
• Maintain user access permissions and integrate ALM with automation tools.
  

Manual & Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain manual test cases based on functional requirements.
  
• Import test cases into ALM, oversee test execution, and coordinate defect tracking.
  
• Develop and maintain UFT automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid).
  
• Integrate automation scripts with ALM for execution and reporting.
  

LoadRunner Performance Testing:

• Plan and execute performance testing strategies using LoadRunner.
  
• Develop and maintain LoadRunner scripts for HTTP, Web Services, API, and other protocols.
  
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations.
  
• Lead and mentor QA team members in automation and performance testing.
  
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to define test requirements.
  
• Define and implement QA processes, strategies, and best practices.
  
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Psychology, or a related field.
