Job summary

You will ensure code quality, document architecture, and participate in all SDLC phases, with emphasis on efficient, maintainable code and CI/CD gating. Also required to estimate work and communicate with project managers.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and configure Python applications according to business process and application requirements.
• Ensure the code is efficient, maintainable, and adheres to best practices.
• Collaborate with trading desks and quantitative analysts to understand workflows and requirements.
• Develop architecture using design patterns, writing modular and reusable code, and documenting architecture for future reference.
• Maintain code quality with static and dynamic analyses, security scans, code coverage, and CI/CD gating.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Python applications for Front Office use.
• Support existing applications to aid the trading desk operations.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to meet their needs.
• Provide work estimates and communicate them to project managers.
• Participate in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle from analysis to post-deployment support.
