The role requires leadership in SDLC disciplines, cloud-native design, and risk-aware engineering within a fast-paced, regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Java, Python, or Scala.
• Strong AWS platform expertise and security practices.
• Extensive experience with big data, including Apache Spark.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops secure production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and stability.
• Improves automation and value via the SDLC toolchain.
• Identifies and remediates recurring issues to boost software stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Collaborates across functions to deliver trusted technology products.
