Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a senior software engineering leader based in the United States, with 7+ years in full-stack development (Python, Node.js) and experience delivering enterprise APIs, web apps, and cloud deployments.

You will guide engineers in an Agile Scrum environment, champion CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS, and mentor teams using AI-assisted tools. Compensation ranges from 106,230 to 145,000 with additional incentives possible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and web applications including Python, Node.js, SQL, AWS, MLOps.
• Leadership experience to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills
