Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a skilled Pulmonary Physiology Specialist to perform high-quality testing per ATS, AARC, and CAP standards. You will lead a specialty area and mentor technicians in the assigned area, ensuring safe and accurate patient care.

You will maintain thorough documentation, participate in quality improvements, and stay current with NBRC education requirements while operating and maintaining related equipment in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NBRC credentials required (RRT/RPFT/CRT/CPFT/RCEP).
• Current Colorado license to practice Respiratory Care (DORA) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality Pulmonary Physiology Testing per ATS/AARC/CAP standards.
• Leads specialty area and trains technicians in the assigned area.
• Maintains documentation accurately and participates in quality improvement.
• Operates and maintains equipment per safety policies.
• Monitors quality of testing results and adheres to NBRC continuing education requirements.
