Tender Touch Rehab Services is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant to join our SNF/long-term care team in Massachusetts. This full-time role offers competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth under licensed PT supervision.

Responsibilities include providing PT treatments, supervising rehab staff in absence of supervisor, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the care team to achieve quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline.
• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence.

Education
