Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in a SNF/Long-Term Care setting. You will provide therapy under supervision, assist in patient selection, and coordinate with the PT for evaluations while leading others on the team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT, following state guidelines.
• Identify appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in your discipline.
• Assume rehab supervisor responsibilities in the PT's absence.
