Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I, CF for the California State Prison, Sacramento. Qualifications

• Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CA), or pending licensure with approval to sit for the exam.
• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program and eligibility for licensure in California.
• Two years of post-licensed or post-certified experience as a clinical social worker meeting supervisor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise psychiatric social workers and act on behalf of mentally, physically or developmentally disabled persons.
• Provide guidance under the Chief Psychologist and ensure program compliance and staff development.
• Limited-term assignment with potential extension or permanency depending on agency needs.
