Qualifications

• Master’s degree in medical physics from a CAMPEP-accredited program with completion of a two-year residency in medical physics.
• 3 years of experience as a clinical therapy physicist including 3DCRT/IMRT/VMAT, SRS/SBRT/IGRT, QA commissioning, and calibration of radiation therapy equipment.
• Certification in Therapeutic Radiology Physics or Radiation Physics by ABR or ABMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proton therapy team in Peoria as part of OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute.
• Collaborate with physicians and physicists across a world-class cancer care program.
• Participate in FLASH therapy research and related initiatives.
• Operate and optimize advanced proton therapy and imaging systems in a high-volume setting.
