Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Security Intelligence Analyst within Protective Intelligence to analyze security risks across domestic and international environments. You will produce timely intelligence reports, brief executives, and support threat management with OSINT expertise.

The role partners with executive protection teams and requires experience with OSINT, SOC familiarity, and delivering risk assessments for travel and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of intelligence gathering, database search tools and analysis and reporting.
• At least 3 years of OSINT data collection, online research and investigative techniques.
• At least 3 years of social media and online investigations using OSINT methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute high‑quality written intelligence products with minimal oversight.
• Brief leadership on information related to potential security threats.
• Provide near real time intelligence support to threat assessment and operations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for executive travel, events and residences.
• Participate in security planning meetings and contribute to security strategies.
• Monitor geopolitical events affecting travel and operations and report timely.
• Summarize data from confidential, open source and third‑party sources for decision making.
• Review sources and suggest program improvements.Contribute to best practices and scalable processes for threat intelligence.
• Flag items of impact and initiate alerting; assist with calendars and dashboards.

Education

Bachelor's degree or military experience
