SEGULA Technologies in Troy, Michigan, seeks a Technical Expert – Propulsion Virtual Engineering to lead and execute virtual propulsion engineering across ICE, hybrid, and electrified systems. You will oversee CAE activities and mentor a global team of engineers.

The role focuses on delivering full propulsion program CAE deliverables, driving first-time-right quality and on-time delivery, and building automation with Python/Tcl and AI tools to advance simulations.

Qualifications

• 10–13+ years of professional experience in virtual engineering/CAE.
• 6+ years in a technical leadership, program execution lead, or supervisory role.
• Proven track record managing global engineering deliverables with SLA/KPI targets.
• Bachelor's degree required; master or Ph.D. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute propulsion CAE deliverables across global milestones.
• Drive First Time Right (FTR) quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
• Oversee a team of CAE and system simulation engineers; mentor staff.
• Support HV electrical system evaluations and trade-off studies.
• Drive automation, parametric modeling, and AI/ML tools in workflows.
• Integrate 3D scanning data into simulation workflows.
