Job summary

Relativity Space in Mississippi seeks a Lead Propulsion Test Technician for the Stennis Test Team to lead a hands-on crew through test hardware assembly and maintenance, and to maintain flight-ready test stands.

You will allocate tasks, provide technical guidance, monitor safety, and collaborate with engineering to implement process improvements, while meeting project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace, aviation, medium or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted and wear PPE.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools for fabrication operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment with safety emphasis.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians through test hardware assembly and maintenance.
• Oversee testing operations and maintain existing test stands.
• Allocate tasks and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and conduct inspections.
• Develop process improvements with engineering and leadership.
• Track tooling and perform ROI justification for purchases.
