L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive propulsion system design for high‑pressure and extreme‑temperature hardware. You will develop concepts, size components, and package hardware for integration with vehicle interfaces, leading a design team and performing tolerance analyses.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical design, Creo CAD, Windchill PLM, and ASME Y14.5, with security clearance eligibility and collaboration across functions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or 13 years w/o degree.

Responsabilidades

• Develop concepts for mechanical propulsion systems to meet customer requirements.
• Perform preliminary design, component sizing and packaging within volume and mass constraints.
• Create mechanical components and systems for high-pressure, extreme-environment applications.
• Prepare GD&T drawings per ASME Y14.5 and release via Windchill PLM.
• Lead design staff, participate in design reviews, and support tolerance studies and analyses.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for producibility and cost improvements and participate in tests and data reduction.
