Job description

Essential Functions

  1. Coordinate proposal development process from initial request.
  2. Create and maintain proposal schedules, outlines and compliance.
  3. Ensure all proposal documents meet internal quality standards.
  4. Track proposal progress and maintain detailed records of submission .
  5. Manage Proposal templates, content libraries and proposal archives.
  6. Support continuous improvement of proposal process and tools.
  7. Edit and format proposal documents for clarity, grammar and consistency to prospective clients.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility. This job operates in a clerical office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however; some filing is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturdays rotate and the hours are 8:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Evening and other weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

No regular travel is expected for this position; however; there may be a need to visit a job site from time to time to assist with training.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Administration and writing experience,

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Related work experience with proposal documentation.
