Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician III to promptly respond to service requests, prepare apartments for turnover, and maintain property.)

Based in the Minneapolis area, the role requires strong hands-on repair skills across interior, exterior, and grounds with a focus on customer service and safety. Five days in office, with on-call responsibilities and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or progressive experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of advanced hands-on repair in three or more building trades.
• Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting; REAC/HQS preferred.
• Industry trade certifications (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests and on-call emergencies.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-ins and maintain grounds.
• Provide guidance to junior techs and assist with vendor management.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE.
