Job summary

Lumos & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Project Surveyor to support our Northern California operations. The role involves coordinating survey projects in field and office, leading a survey team, and ensuring high-quality results for clients.

The ideal candidate brings strong land surveying expertise, field-to-finish project management, and proficiency with Trimble tools, Civil 3D, and QA/QC processes. California experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess a four-year degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of land survey experience.
• LSIT with progression toward PLS preferred.
• Ability to manage survey projects from field to finish using Trimble gear.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble BC required.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct a survey team in responsible-charge projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Mentor staff and conduct recurring workload reviews.
• Provide QA/QC review to ensure standards compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact and pursue new business.
