Job summary

The Quest Organization in the Boston area seeks a Project Superintendent – Heavy Civil / Sitework Construction to oversee field operations and drive project execution for large-scale site development, excavation and roadway work.

You will manage field crews, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, review plans, maintain safety, schedule, and budget adherence, and help with closeout and project tracking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Superintendent experience in heavy civil, excavation, sitework, or roadway construction.
• Experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, equipment, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Experience with public works or private site development projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and coordinate with Project Managers, foremen, laborers, and equipment operators.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate material procurement and field logistics.
• Review project plans, timelines, and production goals with crews.
• Maintain accurate field reports and approve daily logs.
• Assist with change order documentation and project tracking.
• Support project closeout and overall project delivery.
