Scott Humphrey Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on high-profile commercial construction projects. You will drive schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely project turnover from groundbreaking through final turnover.

The role requires 5+ years as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial builds, with experience across Healthcare, Manufacturing, Aviation, Industrial, or Large Commercial

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent leading commercial construction projects.
• Proven success managing ground-up construction projects.
• Experience with Healthcare, Manufacturing, Aviation, Industrial, or Large Commercial Facilities.
• Strong scheduling, site logistics, sequencing, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain accountability across subcontractor teams.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams and keep projects moving forward.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Stable work history with tenure with previous employers.

Responsabilités

• Lead all day-to-day field operations from site development to project closeout.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain and drive project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.
• Coordinate construction activities with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and daily planning sessions.
• Monitor quality control, site logistics, manpower, and production goals.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and construction documents to identify and address issues before they impact the project.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Oversee inspections, punch-list completion, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
