Lead Project Manager Renewables (Engineer)

Location: USA only - Remote or Hybrid

Our work focuses on enabling development and investment in energy infrastructure. As a project manager within our teams, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with clients, and expand our engineering and advisory services. Join a dedicated team of industry experts delivering high-value technical diligence and solutions for energy challenges. You will work across energy technologies and collaborate with stakeholders on industry opportunities.

Technical Advisory offers comprehensive services supporting strategic investments, portfolio management, operational planning, market developments, policy, regulation, and customer engagement. We collaborate across divisions, including Power and Gas Market, Environment and Planning, and Transportation and Sustainability teams. Our consultants combine industry experience with advanced consulting and analytical skills. As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your experience in power markets and engineering consulting, with a proven track record in client engagement at managerial to senior levels.

What you will do:

  • Conduct technical due diligence and support construction and project completion monitoring for energy assets.
  • Manage project and client relationships.
  • Provide technical input to multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Work within a collaborative environment with diverse technical expertise.
  • Deliver projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Support business development, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Develop proposals for new projects.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical)
  • 8+ years of energy industry experience, including consulting and project financing diligence
  • 8+ years of site-based experience in utility-scale renewable projects (Wind, Solar, Storage, Biofuels, etc.)
  • Experience with Independent Engineering (IE) and Owner's Engineering (OE)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for onsite visits

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 10-15+ years of relevant energy experience, including consulting and financing diligence
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
  • Knowledge of renewable power project structures and key contracts
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly within project teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay Range

The full-time pay range for this position is $107,936.00 - $183,491.00, considering experience, skills, location, and other factors. This role is based in a Nationwide Remote Office (US99).
