Job summary

Kramer Consulting seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of commercial development, renovation, and construction projects. This role is ideal for a collaborative, proactive professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and manages projects through the full lifecycle of planning, design, and construction.

Ideal candidates will act as trusted advisors, lead project teams, and drive successful outcomes with a focus on education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, real estate development, or a related field.
• Experience overseeing project coordination activities including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain client/consultant relationships.

Responsibilities

• Represent project owners throughout planning, design, construction, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate and negotiate with design professionals, contractors, vendors, and public officials on the Owner's behalf.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, budgets, schedules, change orders, invoices, and financial tracking.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects.
• Lead, coordinate, and document project meetings.
• Track documentation and due diligence materials for each project.
• Proactively meet client and project goals in a cost-efficient manner.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive timely issue resolution.
