Job summary

gpac, representing a leading Statesboro commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will be the primary liaison among owners, architects, subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving and a hands-on approach to manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals and meetings with the project

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Strong budget, scheduling and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules and overall project controls
• Coordinate subcontractor buyout, contracts and procurement
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
• Work closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality and jobsite progress
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Lead owner, architect and subcontractor meetings
• Track project costs, forecasts and financial performance
• Identify potential issues early and develop practical solutions
