Lead Project Management Specialist – Processes and Tools

Unison is the leading provider of differentiated engine controls, accessories, and performance monitoring solutions in the Aerospace, Defense & Space segments. Serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers, Unison designs, manufactures, and supplies the most advanced components and systems in the world.

The Lead Project Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting process improvements within the Unison business, particularly within the Order to Remittance (OTR) and other Return to Service (RTS) value streams. This includes supporting functional teams with weekly and monthly operating cadences, implementing standard work, collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and drive informed decision-making, and supporting the development of digital tools aligned with business KPIs. The role involves leading cross-functional projects of moderate complexity and contributing to more complex initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Implement standard tools and processes to support business operating cadences.
  • Support cross-functional teams in preparation for operating reviews and enhance review rigor.
  • Lead and support KPI improvement activities for functional value streams.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, focusing on action and collaboration.
  • Gather, analyze, and transform business data to inform decisions.
  • Manage action plans to ensure accountability and timely completion.
  • Develop digital tools to improve process efficiency and KPI reporting.
  • Support the adoption of the FLIGHT DECK Operating System.
  • Document standard work for key processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant fields, or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently and executing projects effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Digital proficiency with tools like Access, Power Query, VBA, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Experience with TIBCO Spotfire or similar analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace industry and aviation products.
  • Ability to drive efficiency improvements across projects.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers are contingent on obtaining necessary authorizations.
