Job summary

Marlen International in Riverside, MO, seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical engineering team in designing and improving equipment for food processing systems. You will drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring customer requirements, quality, regulatory, and business goals are met.

Collaborate with Sales, Service, Operations, Manufacturing, and Product Management to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and scale operations.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• +:Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• +:Minimum of 2 years of leadership or people management experience.
• +:PE license preferred; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, providing technical guidance and performance support.
• Manage projects across product lines within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Operations, Manufacturing, and Product Management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry standards, and best practices.
• Communicate milestones, risks, and resource needs regularly.
