Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Project Engineer, Lead to support the Program Management Office in planning and executing day-to-day operations and cross-functional projects. You will bridge technical teams and clients by creating compelling presentations and driving process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in a project engineering environment, strong PowerPoint and agile expertise, and the ability to translate technical data into strategic insights. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a project engineering role within an Agile or software development environment, including interacting with clients.
• Experience creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to analyze and problem-solve to identify and drive process improvements.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple ad hoc tasks effectively with minimal supervision, and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of day-to-day program operations and cross-functional projects within the Program Management Office.
• Create concise, clear PowerPoint presentations for internal teams and external clients to communicate project status and analysis.
• Analyze project data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions for stakeholders and clients.
• Facilitate client weekly status meetings and communicate project status, risks, and issues to leadership.
• Collaborate with program management, technical teams, Agile teams, and stakeholders to ensure integration of project plan and presentations.
• Drive process improvements across project workflows and develop documentation for new procedures.
